G. B. Edwards

G. B. Edwards (Gerald Basil Edwards) was a British author born on December 8, 1899, in Guernsey, Channel Islands. He is best known for his novel 'The Book of Ebenezer Le Page', which was published posthumously in 1981. The novel, set in Guernsey, is a fictional autobiography that vividly portrays the life of the titular character and the changes in island life over the course of the 20th century. Edwards' work is celebrated for its rich character development and its evocative depiction of Guernsey's culture and history.
