Alexander Belyaev was a Russian author of science fiction. He is often referred to as the 'Russian Jules Verne' and is considered one of the pioneers of science fiction in Russia. Some of his most famous works include 'Professor Dowell's Head,' 'Amphibian Man,' and 'The Air Seller.'
