Santideva

Śāntideva was an 8th-century Indian Buddhist monk and scholar at the university at Nalanda. He is particularly renowned for his works 'Bodhicaryāvatāra' (Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life) and 'Śikṣāsamuccaya' (Compendium of Teachings).
