Rita Dove
Rita Dove is an American poet and essayist. She served as the Poet Laureate Consultant in Poetry to the Library of Congress from 1993 to 1995. Dove has received numerous awards for her work, including the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1987 for her book 'Thomas and Beulah'.
