Esther Forbes

Esther Forbes was an American novelist, historian, and children's writer. She is best known for her novel 'Johnny Tremain,' which won the Newbery Medal in 1944. Forbes also received the Pulitzer Prize for History in 1943 for her biography 'Paul Revere and the World He Lived In.'
