Xingjian Gao

Gao Xingjian is a Chinese-born novelist, playwright, and critic who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2000. He is known for his works that explore themes of existentialism, individualism, and the human condition. Gao is also a painter and has lived in France since 1987.
