Martin Andersen Nexø

Martin Andersen Nexø (1869–1954) was a Danish author, known for his novels and stories that often depicted the lives of the working class. He is most famous for his novel 'Pelle the Conqueror', which explores the struggles of a young boy and his father as they try to make a better life for themselves. This work was later adapted into an Oscar-winning film.
