Israel Joshua Singer

Israel Joshua Singer was a Polish-American novelist and short story writer. He was the older brother of Nobel Prize-winning author Isaac Bashevis Singer. Israel Joshua Singer is best known for his novels 'The Brothers Ashkenazi' and 'The Family Carnovsky'.
