James Herbert

James Herbert was a best-selling British author known for his horror fiction. Notable for works such as 'The Rats', 'The Fog', and 'The Secret of Crickley Hall', Herbert's writing career spanned four decades, during which he published 23 novels and sold over 54 million copies worldwide. His books are characterized by their dark atmospheres, detailed descriptions, and gripping narratives. Herbert was awarded the OBE (Order of the British Empire) in 2010 for his contributions to literature.
