E Nesbit
E. Nesbit was an English author and poet known for her children's books. She wrote or collaborated on more than 60 books of fiction for children, several of which have become classics. She is perhaps best remembered for her novel 'The Railway Children' and for her series of books about the Bastable family, including 'The Story of the Treasure Seekers' and 'The Wouldbegoods'. Her works combined realistic, contemporary children in real-world settings with magical adventures and elements of fantasy.
