Jerome Friedman

Jerome Friedman is an American physicist and Institute Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1990, along with Henry W. Kendall and Richard E. Taylor, for their pioneering investigations concerning deep inelastic scattering of electrons on protons and bound neutrons, which were crucial in the development of the quark model in particle physics.
