Robert Hellenga

Robert Hellenga (1941–2020) was an American author known for his literary fiction. He was a professor of English at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, and his work often explored themes of love, loss, and art. Hellenga published several novels throughout his career, including 'The Sixteen Pleasures,' which is perhaps his best-known work, set against the backdrop of the 1966 Florence flood and the restoration of damaged art.
