EL Konigsburg

E.L. Konigsburg was an American author and illustrator of children's books and young adult fiction. She is best known for her novel 'From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler,' which won the Newbery Medal for excellence in American children's literature in 1968. She won a second Newbery Medal in 1997 for 'The View from Saturday,' making her one of the few authors to receive the award twice. Her works often explore themes of adolescence, family dynamics, and the experiences of outsiders.
