Moyshe Kulbak

Moyshe Kulbak (1896–1937) was a Yiddish language poet and novelist, born in Smarhoń, Belarus. He was a prominent figure in the Yiddish literary scene of the 20th century and is known for his contributions to Yiddish literature, including poetry, drama, and novels. His works often reflect the life and struggles of the Jewish people in Eastern Europe. Kulbak was a victim of the Stalinist purges and was executed in 1937.
