Dalia Grinkevičiutė

Dalia Grinkevičiūtė (1927–1987) was a Lithuanian author and survivor of the Gulag. Her most notable work is 'Lietuviai prie Laptevų jūros' (Lithuanians by the Laptev Sea), which details her deportation to Siberia during the Soviet occupation of Lithuania. The memoir is a harrowing account of her experiences and the suffering of Lithuanian deportees during World War II and afterward.
