Rahim Esenov

Rahim Esenov was a prominent Turkmen writer, journalist, and historian. He is best known for his historical novel 'The Crowned Wanderer,' which was set in the 16th century in the Persian Empire and dealt with the life of Bayram Khan. Esenov faced political persecution for his work, which was often critical of the Soviet and Turkmen governments.
