Neil M. Gunn

Neil M. Gunn (1891–1973) was a Scottish novelist, critic, and essayist. He is best known for his contributions to Scottish literature and is considered one of the most important Scottish writers of the early 20th century. His work often reflects the culture, landscape, and spirit of the Scottish Highlands. Some of his notable novels include 'The Silver Darlings' and 'Highland River', which won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize.
