August Derleth

August Derleth was an American writer and anthologist, best known as the founder of Arkham House, a small press that specialized in supernatural fiction. He was a major figure in the early years of the science fiction and fantasy genres, and he also contributed significantly to the preservation and promotion of H.P. Lovecraft's work. Derleth wrote numerous books and short stories, often blending elements of horror, mystery, and the Cthulhu Mythos.
