Hillary Waugh

Hillary Waugh (1920–2008) was a pioneering American writer of police procedurals. He wrote numerous mystery novels, most notably 'Last Seen Wearing...' which was published in 1952 and is considered a classic in the genre. His work was known for its careful and realistic portrayal of police work, which he researched extensively. Waugh was also a recipient of the Grand Master Award from the Mystery Writers of America in 1989.
