Spike Milligan

Spike Milligan was a comedian, writer, poet, playwright, and actor, known for his work on the groundbreaking comedy series 'The Goon Show'. He was born on April 16, 1918, in India to an Irish father and an English mother. Milligan served in the British Army during World War II, an experience that influenced much of his later work. His unique and irreverent sense of humor has had a lasting impact on British comedy. Milligan was also a prolific author of both comedic and serious works, including war memoirs and poetry. He passed away on February 27, 2002.
