Géza Gárdonyi

Géza Gárdonyi was a Hungarian writer and journalist, best known for his historical novels and adventure stories. He was born on August 3, 1863, in Agárdpuszta, Hungary, and died on October 30, 1922. One of his most famous works is 'Egri csillagok' (Stars of Eger), which is a historical novel set during the Siege of Eger in the 16th century.
