R.E. Howard

Robert Ervin Howard was an American author who is well known for his contributions to the sword and sorcery genre. He is best known for creating the character Conan the Barbarian, featured in a series of fantasy stories published in Weird Tales magazine. Howard's work had a significant impact on the fantasy genre, and his characters and settings have been adapted into numerous films, television series, and other media. He was born on January 22, 1906, and died on June 11, 1936.
