David M. Oshinsky

David M. Oshinsky is an American historian and author who has written extensively on American political and cultural history. He is best known for his work on the history of medicine, including his book 'Polio: An American Story,' which won the Pulitzer Prize for History in 2006. Oshinsky is a professor at New York University and has also taught at Rutgers University and the University of Texas at Austin.
