Clive Staples Lewis

Clive Staples Lewis, commonly known as C.S. Lewis, was a British writer and lay theologian. He was born on November 29, 1898, in Belfast, Ireland, and passed away on November 22, 1963. Lewis is best known for his works of fiction, especially 'The Chronicles of Narnia', a series of seven fantasy novels that have become classics of children's literature. He also wrote on various themes of Christian apologetics, most notably 'Mere Christianity', which provides an overview of Christian theology for a general audience. His works continue to be widely read and have been translated into more than 30 languages.
