Tanuja Desai Hidier

Tanuja Desai Hidier is an American author of Indian descent, best known for her critically acclaimed novel 'Born Confused', which is considered one of the first young adult novels with a South Asian-American protagonist. The sequel to this novel is 'Bombay Blues'. Hidier is also a singer-songwriter and has released albums that complement her novels.
