Thomas R. Gray

Thomas R. Gray is known for documenting the life of the African-American slave and rebellion leader Nat Turner, with whom he spoke extensively before Turner's execution. Gray's most notable work is 'The Confessions of Nat Turner', published in 1831, which provides a detailed account of Turner's confessions regarding the slave rebellion he led in Virginia.
