Garth Greenwell




Garth Greenwell is an American poet, author, literary critic, and educator. His debut novel, What Belongs to You was published in the US by Farrar, Straus and Giroux in January 2016 and in the UK by Picador in April. What Belongs to You has been called the "first great novel of 2016" by Publishers Weekly. In 2013, Greenwell returned to the United States after living in Bulgaria to attend the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop as an Arts Fellow. He has published stories in The Paris Review[3][2] and A Public Space and writes criticism for The New Yorker[4][3] and The Atlantic.Greenwell read from What Belongs to You on his US book tour January - April 2016.
