Dai Sijie

Dai Sijie is a Chinese-French author and filmmaker, best known for his novel 'Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress'. He was born in Chengdu, Sichuan, China, and later moved to France, where he has lived since 1984. His works often explore themes of cultural revolution and personal transformation.
