Papa, Please Get The Moon For Me by Eric Carle
In this children's book, a young girl named Monica asks her father to bring her the moon so she can play with it. Her devoted father attempts to fulfill her request, going as far as climbing a very tall ladder to reach the moon. The story creatively explores the phases of the moon as it changes shape and eventually becomes small enough for Monica to play with, before it grows too large and returns to the sky, teaching children about the natural cycle of the moon in an imaginative and engaging way.
