Anya Seton
Anya Seton (1904–1990) was an American author of historical romances, most notably 'Katherine', which tells the story of Katherine Swynford and John of Gaunt. She was known for her meticulous research and ability to bring historical figures and periods to life for her readers. Some of her other popular works include 'The Winthrop Woman', 'Dragonwyck', and 'Green Darkness'.
