Kálmán Mikszáth
Kálmán Mikszáth was a Hungarian novelist, journalist, and politician, born on January 16, 1847, and died on May 28, 1910. He is considered one of the most prominent Hungarian authors of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Mikszáth's works often depict the life of the lower nobility in Hungary, and he is known for his keen wit, humanism, and social criticism.
