Edgar Pangborn

Edgar Pangborn (1909–1976) was an American author of science fiction, mystery, and historical fiction. He is known for his lyrical writing style and exploration of social and philosophical themes. His most famous work is the novel 'Davy,' which is set in a post-apocalyptic future. Pangborn's contributions to the genre have been recognized with a posthumous induction into the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame in 2014.
