K. W. Jeter

K. W. Jeter is an American author known for his works in science fiction and horror genres. He is credited with coining the term 'steampunk' to describe a genre of speculative fiction that incorporates technology and aesthetic designs inspired by 19th-century industrial steam-powered machinery. Jeter has written several sequels to 'Blade Runner', a series based on the characters from the movie adaptation of Philip K. Dick's novel 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?'. His notable works include 'Morlock Night', 'Infernal Devices', and 'The Glass Hammer'.
