Rachel Ingalls

Rachel Ingalls (1940-2019) was an American-born author who spent much of her writing career in the United Kingdom. She was best known for her novella 'Mrs. Caliban', which was published in 1982 and was selected by the British Book Marketing Council as one of the 20 best American novels since World War II. Ingalls wrote numerous other works, including short stories and novels, often characterized by their concise narrative style and elements of the fantastical or surreal.
