J. Meade Faulkner

J. Meade Faulkner (John Meade Falkner) was an English novelist and poet, best known for his 1898 novel, 'Moonfleet'. He was born on 8 May 1858, in Wiltshire, England, and worked as an arms manufacturer and tutor. He wrote several novels, but 'Moonfleet', an adventure story set in 18th-century Dorset, remains his most famous work. Falkner's writing is characterized by its detailed descriptions and narrative suspense. He passed away on 22 July 1932.
