Andrew Hodges

Andrew Hodges is a British mathematician, author, and biographer. He is best known for his book 'Alan Turing: The Enigma', the biography of the British mathematician and pioneering computer scientist Alan Turing. The book was published in 1983 and later inspired the 2014 film 'The Imitation Game'. Hodges is also a mathematical physicist and a fellow of Wadham College, Oxford, where he has worked on the theory of twistors—the complex-number theory that underpins much of the search for a theory of everything in physics.
