A. J. A. Symons was an English author, biographer, and bibliophile, best known for his biography of the eccentric writer and composer Frederick Rolfe, also known as Baron Corvo, titled 'The Quest for Corvo'. His work is celebrated for its thorough research and engaging narrative style. Symons was also a co-founder of the First Edition Club, which celebrated book collecting and fine printing.
