Robert McAlmon

Robert McAlmon (1896–1956) was an American writer, poet, and publisher. He was a significant figure in the expatriate community in Paris during the 1920s and played a crucial role in the Lost Generation literary scene. McAlmon is known for his own work as well as for his contributions to the careers of other writers, including publishing early works of Ernest Hemingway and others through his Contact Editions press.
