Henry Cockton

Henry Cockton (1807–1853) was an English novelist best known for his humorous work, particularly 'The Life and Adventures of Valentine Vox, the Ventriloquist', which was widely popular in the 19th century. He wrote several other novels, often featuring satirical takes on social issues of his time.
