F. Marion Crawford

F. Marion Crawford was an American writer known for his many novels, especially those set in Italy, and for his classic weird and fantastic stories. Born on August 2, 1854, in Bagni di Lucca, Italy, he was a prolific author who blended elements of romance, historical fiction, and horror, gaining considerable popularity in his time. Some of his notable works include 'Saracinesca' and 'The Witch of Prague'. He passed away on April 9, 1909, in Sorrento, Italy.
