E.R. Eddison

E.R. Eddison (Eric Rücker Eddison) was an English author known for his early works of high fantasy. He was born on November 24, 1882, and died on August 18, 1945. Eddison is best remembered for his novel 'The Worm Ouroboros' (1922) and the Zimiamvian Trilogy, which are considered pioneering works in the fantasy genre.
