Oscar Zeta Acosta

Oscar Zeta Acosta was an American attorney, politician, novelist, and Chicano Movement activist, best known for his novels 'Autobiography of a Brown Buffalo' and 'The Revolt of the Cockroach People'. He was also a close friend of writer Hunter S. Thompson, who immortalized him as Dr. Gonzo in 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas'.
