Will Eisner

Will Eisner was a pioneering American cartoonist, writer, and entrepreneur known for his contributions to the comic book industry. He is best known for creating 'The Spirit', a comic book series featuring a masked crime fighter. Eisner is also celebrated for his contributions to the development of the graphic novel, a term he helped popularize with his work 'A Contract with God'.
