Andreas Kalvos

Andreas Kalvos (1792–1869) was a prominent Greek poet and playwright. He is considered one of the most important figures in modern Greek literature, known for his romantic and nationalistic themes. Kalvos spent much of his life abroad, particularly in Italy and England, which influenced his literary work.
