Robert C. O'Brien

Robert C. O'Brien was the pen name of Robert Leslie Conly (January 11, 1918 – March 5, 1973), an American author and journalist. He is best known for his post-apocalyptic novel 'Z for Zachariah' and the Newbery Medal-winning 'Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH', which he wrote for children. O'Brien's work is characterized by his imaginative storytelling and exploration of ethical themes.
