Michihiko Hachiya

Michihiko Hachiya was a Japanese medical doctor and director of the Hiroshima Communications Hospital during the time of the Hiroshima bombing in 1945. He is best known for his diary, 'Hiroshima Diary: The Journal of a Japanese Physician, August 6–September 30, 1945', which provides a detailed account of the aftermath of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima.
