Vincent van Gogh was a post-impressionist painter from the Netherlands, widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in the history of Western art. Despite his mental health struggles, van Gogh produced more than 2,100 artworks, including around 860 oil paintings, most of them in the last two years of his life.
