George M. Cohan

George M. Cohan was an American entertainer, playwright, composer, lyricist, actor, singer, dancer, and theatrical producer. Known as 'The Man Who Owned Broadway,' he is famous for his patriotic songs such as 'Yankee Doodle Dandy' and 'You're a Grand Old Flag.' Cohan was a key figure in the development of American musical theater.
