Hendrik Tollens

Hendrik Tollens was a Dutch poet known for his patriotic and historical poetry. He was one of the most popular poets in the Netherlands during the 19th century and is best remembered for writing the Dutch national anthem 'Wien Neêrlands Bloed' which was used from 1815 to 1932.
