Homer Hickam

Homer Hickam is an American author, Vietnam veteran, and former NASA engineer. He is best known for his memoir 'Rocket Boys', which was adapted into the film 'October Sky'. His works often draw upon his experiences growing up in a coal mining town and his career in aerospace.
